CNC Turning with Okuma and Mori Seiki
Our CNC turning department is anchored by our high quality Okuma CNC Cadet and Captain lathes. These CNC lathes are equipped with a bar feeder system, live tooling, a load monitoring system. They are capable of running lights out machining 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. The Load Monitoring system is so sensitive the machines will detect a broken 6-32 tap. The machines hold tolerances of plus/minus .0002" all day and all night long with a spindle run-out under .00002".
We can run volumes of a few pcs. to hundreds of thousands per year. With our system of quality inspection we develop a keen understanding of how many parts we can run with specific carbide inserts, we can load the bar feeders with the right amount of material to produce those parts and let these quality machines run production. At pre-determined intervals, we conduct a quality inspection, unload the batch of products, and continue operations. We specialize at producing quality volume products at prices which can compete with foreign sources!
